The key swipe for entering the gate needs maintenance around the poles and the hole needs filled. Other than that the unit was great.

Then called twice and no one came to answer. Then call a main U-Haul # and complained to them and then appeared an employee with no apology just a frumpy "can I help you?"

JAMES K | Overall ExperienceI had to throw away more than half of what was stored in 046. There was no food at all in unit, as I know better to never store food. There was mouse feces,urine and 7 dead mice in untit. Uhaul put mouse poison in my unit and professional exterminators need to fix this disgusting problem!In unit 001 everything that was on right side of unit was wet and had to be thrown away. Pictures of my kids and grand kids and 5 boxes of decorative pictures that went on my walls. I would NEVER recommend this building for storage. There is also no employees in office. If there is a problem at gate you have to drive a loaded vehicle to Linden ave. Approx. 5 miles from burkhardt st units. I would not recommend to anyone to use these facilities. The only good thing is the employees in the Linden ave. Facility. To say I was extremely angry at the conditions of my items is beyond. Unit 026 had rodent feces but not as bad as unit 046.Yes I paid almost 700.00 a month for 3 units and almost half of my stuff went in the trash. Disgusting!!

They try to call the local branch and it routes back to the call center. They send an email asking them to call you, no one ever calls. The only way to get any response it to drive to the location, wait in line, and ask in person.
