Georgia M | Online Move InI cancelled my unit. I tried to call the store/I chatted on line/ I responded to Emails. Today I got a letter from Uhaul saying I owe 421.88. Do NOT recommend Uhaul cause now I have a bill for units I cancelled in march! #1763-67
AMANDA H | Overall ExperienceIf you're doing long term storage this isn't the place. It's good for shorter terms. They hike the price up and keep it there even though they change their prices lower later on. It is nice for the 24 hour access and controlled temperature. I do have to give props for the cleanliness and little to no bugs as well as no mice. I had this unit for about 5 years and accidentally left an unopened bag of Reese's cups and they were still intact with no deform which means they really kept up with the controlled environment. The main issue I have had besides the price is that they aren't really helpful for getting locks off if you lost your key. (Of course proving that you're the owner of the storage and pay for it) They can't actually help you with anything beyond payment for the unit/other things they sell in the store or any other uhaul rental. I would have left the yes no question on them being friendly or helpful blank because it truly depends on whom you get and what you truly need. I put yes because the few times I ran into trouble or uncaring workers I already forgot whom they are. It's best to solve things yourself or you'll probably have to pay a huge price. Oh I also don't appreciate the threat of throwing my things out with a late payment of less than a month. Especially with my YEARS of service there. It's a struggle to live sometimes you know. Especially when you the only one providing. That only happened once but fairly recently hence me getting my things out myself as quickly as possible. Anyways back to positive it's pretty secure for the most part. There's always that 1% possiblity of something happening but I wouldn't blame uhaul for that. You have to know your code and sign in properly or you can't get in to the facility if the office isn't opened. Which I appreciate the multi step security for that. If the door somehow comes open a blaring alarm goes off immediately if you're not signed in. In conclusion above average with the good outweigh the bad. (Looking back overall) Thank you.

DAVID B | Overall ExperienceFacilities are poor. Our unit flooded as well as many others around ours. After moving to another unit, we stopped by and there was a different lock on ours. They were going to sell our unit for lack of payment when we were paying every month. They forgot to move our unit number in their system. Luckily we stopped by when we did or our stuff would have been sold! Horrible customer service as well. Management is not helpful at all. Better off going to corporate if you have problems.
