ROACHES. I paid almost $200 a month to see roaches in my belongings & I’ve NEVER had roaches. I had to bomb my entire storage & there were dead roaches all over the hallways. I’ve rented at U-Haul for years.. this was the worst!

Rep at the Magee rd location, a white slender male, that assisted me on Magee rd in garland was rude and unfriendly, smart mouthed, condensing. Ahrisha Booker, at the central expressway location is very helpful and friendly. Give her a raise.

Kennedy U | First ImpressionsI am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the service I received at your U-Haul location. From the moment I walked in, the experience was extremely disappointing. There was no greeting, no offer of assistance, and no basic acknowledgment that I was a customer entering the store. I previously spoke with someone who identified themselves as a General Manager from another location. I explained the staff’s behavior and the overall lack of professionalism, and I was assured that the issue would be addressed. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up, and nothing improved. The staff members at this location—including the General Manager—were rude, dismissive, and showed no respect for customers or their time. In addition, the two trucks I rented were in poor condition and clearly in need of maintenance, including brake service. When I raised these safety concerns with the staff, I was met with an indifferent attitude, as if the issues did not matter. This level of customer service and disregard for vehicle safety is unacceptable. I am requesting that this matter be investigated and addressed promptly. I would also appreciate confirmation that my concerns have been received and are being taken seriously. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Adrian A | Overall ExperienceI've continued to get late payment notices after moving out through the app successfully a month & a half ago. I've communicated with multiple reps on multiple occasions over the weeks, sharing the screenshot of my move out confirmation from U-Haul. None of them updated my account. All of them said they communicated with the location where I used to store. None of them did. The person who finally helped me was in billing/collections. Bless her. Additionally I had no indication that the delivery of my U-box would be extra, or that it would take as long as it did (I had a phone conversation they "couldn't find" where their rep told me it would arrive by a certain date & I even offered to load in early/ship earlier to make it happen-they said it wasn't necessary because it would arrive by the date in question. Guess what? It didnt. I slept on the floor for days waiting for the U-box arrival. All preventable. Props to Billing, thumbs down to everything else. Don't bother moving all your belongings across country. For what they charge you can get new stuff - just rent an SUV & fit the essentials/things you can't part with.

Trina T | Overall ExperienceThe staff was friendly, but maybe not very helpful; at least the guy I was dealing with. He was helpful in some areas, but I was thinking maybe he was new to the company. I was very unpleased about the fact that they did not have a dolly to rent with the truck I had gotten. But I was told that I can go to a different uhaul location and rent a dolly, which I attempted to do but was told by the other location that I could not rent one because I did not rent a truck there. It was very frustrating because we had to move everything by hand (including the heavy appliances) we were on a time limit to move. Other than that, I do like the facility we're renting the unit from, it is clean and seems organized visually. Just for future reference, please be specific with which building the unit is located for first time customers for the area.
