How U-Haul Reviews WorkI want to start by saying that the General Manager is a great guy and has always been respectful and professional when dealing with me\. However, I was extremely disappointed with how my situation was handled after my belongings were stolen from my storage unit. When I asked for answers about what happened, no one was really able to provide me with any information. The main response I received was basically, “If you have insurance, file a claim with your insurance company.” That was very frustrating, especially considering that I trusted this facility to help keep my belongings secure. I was also told that the cameras were not recording at the time, and no alarm went off when the break-in occurred. That was very concerning to me because security is one of the main reasons people pay to store their belongings at a facility. Again, I have nothing negative to say about the General Manager personally, but the lack of answers, working surveillance, and security response after my items were stolen left me very disappointed with my overall experience.
