The rent raised consistently the whole time we had the unit, and I’m not sure what the increases were for. Certainly not facility improvements. The parking lot being made out of gravel concrete and not smoothed concrete was a bad choice. During the big snow we had, the whole lot was covered in ice and very slippery, was never plowed or treated. It’s saying something though, that the ice was easier to traverse with carts than the untreated gravel. Had to be extremely cautious moving anything of value or anything delicate. Bathroom was rarely cleaned and even more rarely stocked; no toilet paper, no towels, no soap. I appreciate the security of the gates and doors I guess but when making multiple trips, entering a code to get into the building every time is frustrating and time consuming. The elevator doors stay open for about 2 seconds before they close and clip whatever you’re trying to move. The carts are super convenient but need servicing, they’re loud and the wheels are wonky. I did really like the donation spot, that was excellent. The later closing hours are fine but there were times I needed access to my unit after 10, which was inconvenient. The pull doors for the individual units need attention as well. They frequently catch and squeal and have to be jimmied down so they can close. There was also a bug deterrent in the unit, which I thought was great when we first moved in. But we had the unit for a couple yrs and I have to question its effectiveness after finding a live roach in one of my boxes. We had the only key for the unit so it’s not like the bug traps were ever changed.

You can’t get out to let moving truck in and have door padlocked which is I believe a fire violation. You should get that checked. Your check in / out process isn’t listed anywhere. There’s no option on app. This was a really poorly designed process. Very unimpressed. Would recommend others went with other storage unit.
