Everywhere in town was either out of units or really expensive, but then we called Bayou Storage Downtown and they had a unit free the same day for a great price. The location is safe, well lit, and secure, so we had no concerns about leaving our belongings there. Customer service was always friendly, and now the on-site office is manned by Victor who has been super helpful as we are moving out, even letting us park our portable storage container on-site for a few days so we could load it up. All in all, five stars!
Daniel L | Overall ExperienceThere is a strong odor of sewer gas near my former unit. The gate breaks and has gone weeks without being fixed leaving the entire property unsecured. The office is not open the hours that it states on UHAUL’s hours of operation. I’m told I don’t get any prorated rent back after my move out. This is inconsistent with what I had been told back in July. I feel like I should have received a refund of the prorated rent like I was told. Former management much more helpful and service oriented.

When I tried to call to complain I’d never get a call back. Cats were living in my storage unit. There was vomit on my furniture. Horrible experience!
