My storage had water on the floor so I'm reluctant to move my stuff inside the unit.

My storage place was locked properly and they said they had to put a lock on it.
KURT B | Overall ExperienceI can’t believe that I’ve been using U Hall trucks since late September, October, November, December early January used three different Cridit cards fully charged with funds enabled to successfully rent 6 trucks back to back for these days to months only to find outages charging my P.C. Bank account balance with at least two different charges on Banking statements listings U - Haul as the company that overcharged!! Very disappointing incident after complaint to Supervisor about these charges applied to my bank statement !!! I Blame the Supervisor for not taking care of this issue properly. Attorney shall be responsible for this matter!!!!

nedetia c | Overall ExperienceWhen I arrived to move out, I Informed the front desk that I would be closing out my storage unit. The woman said I need to take a picture of my unit when it was empty. There are no dumpsters on site and I did not have a car with me so I called a junk removal place to help me remove my items. When the employees saw me putting my stuff outside, they called me to ask about it. I informed the lady on the phone I was putting my items outside so the junk removal place can pick everything up. She informed me of the fine if the items were not picked up and I assured the women at the front desk I would not leave them there. 15 minutes later Faye and another woman approached me about my items, I once again said I have a junk removal company coming to pick my items up at 2:20. They said if the junk removal company did not come by 2:30 they would charge me 400 fee. The customer service was terrible because Faye was not understanding nor did she ask me the reason for all of my items on the front. I confirmed 2 times with employees I would not leave my items and not have them picked up. This is a storage facility, things are left in the front as part of the transition of moving items from one place to another. When I first moved my items into this U-Haul, my husband and I unloaded all the items along the outside front wall with no issues or threats from the workers. My word as a customer held no value. I do not believe I was treated with respect or shown proper customer service. Not everyone who walks into this facility wants to damage, destroy or make the lives of the workers difficult. I worked alongside the employees and left my storage unit empty, clean and removed every item that was outside. There needs to be better customer service taught to employees about respect and giving customers grace who are in transition. It was like punishing me for not having a car or access to a dumpster site.

I’ve always found the facility neat and clean, never any red flags. I down sized units which was equally easy. The staff was always able to assist me with payments by phone, which was my preference. I always felt safe enough to visit my storage alone, that’s huge. Thank you all at U-Haul for helping me to get through a rough transitional time. I will definitely recommend your services.

ELIJAH M | First ImpressionsThis facility is an absolute nightmare. From start to finish, the experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. The manager has a terrible attitude—impatient, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. It's clear they don’t properly train their employees, as every month there was some new excuse for why I was hit with late fees. No one seemed to know the correct process to enable my card for automatic payments. When their shady practices were finally uncovered, there were no apologies, no accountability, and certainly no effort to make things right. To make matters worse, they give you access to your storage unit, but the access codes or key cards frequently don’t work. I paid over $100 to rent a truck for the day, only to be locked out of the storage unit I’d paid for on time. I made multiple attempts to resolve this, standing out in the cold, but customer service was no help at all. Not a single accommodation was made for my troubles and inconvenience. I couldn’t get my belongings out fast enough—I don’t trust this facility with anything, let alone important personal items. If you’re considering storing anything here, think twice. This place is poorly managed, and the people running it don’t seem to care about their customers or their belongings. Beware and avoid at all costs!

Greta W | First ImpressionsThe only problem I had with this storage, which had nothing to do with U-Haul at all, and this can happen at any storage unit. If someone bring Rhodens in there is nothing the storage unit could do, and that was the problem I kept running into but other than that, U-Haul did everything excellent that they can do to get rid of any Rhodens that came.
