There were only one flatbed cart. A customer was using it to separate small items out of his storage unit. Customer had his belongings laying on the floor blocking the aisle where my storage unit was. We asked him numerous times if he could move his items as we didn’t to go down that aisle with large furniture and boxes to access my unit. After an hour he didn’t move the items as asked. A verbal argument occurred and the man went until his storage unit and pulled a gun out and threatened my family. I called the police and he was escorted off the property. We didn’t press charges so the police let him go. At this time the manager informed me that I had 3 days to move my belongings out of the unit that I was moving in at that moment. This incident was caused by another customer who threatened my family. I feel it was unfair for the manager to say that I had to move my belongings out in 3 days. We will be pressing charges on the individual who threatened my family and also filing a lawsuit with U-Haul. Our lawyer has been contacted.

It was a lot on them, but I understand the elevator was due to an issue beyond the facility's control. I've rented several trucks from that location and this time had to store stuff for a few weeks. The unit was a bit expensive, but I has peace of mind and that's all that really matters to me.
