Due to many posts online about you continuing to take money after an account was closed, I tried to cancel my autopay through the app. Although it gave me the option to cancel my autopay on the app, it would not go through. It didn’t give an error message or a confirmation message. It just kept going back to the screen to cancel. When I asked the staff member who closed my account to please confirm it was canceled, she replied very snippy “when we close your account there will be no card to charge”. I took my business elsewhere and I will not recommend U-Haul to anybody.
