When I got there to move my stuff into my unit, there was a lock on the unit. And I had brought a lot of stuff up to put into the unit. I had to leave my things there and go downstairs to see if there was some type of mistake. The employees forgot to take the lock off of the unit. As the previous renter was no longer renting it, I had to sit and wait for them to find an available unit. And then move everything in which delayed my process in turning in the truck at the same facility.
SHAROLYN M | Online Move InI valued having U-Haul around, but I was completely blindsided and upset when my key didn’t work. I went to the office and spoke with the associate who was unprofessional and basically told me it was my problem if the key didn’t work. He said I would have to pay $50.00 for them to cut the lock. Suddenly, another-guy appears from the back with new keys and informed me they had cut my lock accidentally. No one informed me and breaking into my storage unit is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE and I felt violated So, the next day, I cleared out my storage and closed my account.
