I recently vacated my storage unit and wanted to share my overall experience. First, I want to highlight that the staff was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful throughout my time there. I truly appreciated the level of customer service—it made a big difference. That said, I was disappointed by U-Haul’s policy of not prorating storage charges. I vacated the unit early, but was still charged for the entire month. What’s more frustrating is that U-Haul can now rent that same unit to another customer and receive double payment for the same time period. From a customer standpoint, this feels unfair and not in line with the quality of service I otherwise received. While I value the excellent staff, I hope U-Haul corporate will reconsider this policy in the future. A more flexible and transparent billing model would go a long way in maintaining customer trust.

I had my belongings left there for years and when I removed my items it looked like I had just placed them there. No accumulation of debris or problems with insects, rodents, or moisture.
