I made a reservation days in advance to ensure everything would be ready for our move. The night before, I received a call saying I had to change my pickup location because they didn’t have the truck size I needed anywhere nearby. The closest option they could find was in Shell Knob, MO. When we arrived the next morning, the situation got even worse. They didn’t have the two dollies we reserved or the trailer we needed. We were then sent to Springfield to pick up the rest of the equipment. We ended up spending half of our moving day just driving around trying to locate the equipment we had already reserved. It completely threw off our schedule and added unnecessary stress to an already busy day. Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Reserving in advance clearly did not guarantee that the equipment would actually be available, which defeats the entire purpose of making a reservation.
