I told them I would return it to Washtenaw Ave. That day I received notice we had to return it to Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor. When we arrived on Washtenaw they wouldn’t take it because they said that site needed it for a customer. I advised them that no one provided me with that courtesy when I needed one in Sault Ste Marie. I had to go get it myself. If at all possible I will never use U-haul again.

This is the first time when renting here that I got a brand new vehicle, less than 4,000 miles. More like this would be awesome.
FLOYD JThe U-Haul truck had California plates so I don’t blame Carpenter Brothers for the one small defect in the truck, but it would be nice if U-Haul would look for opportunity to maintain the little things. The sun visor could not be put in the clip and it kept falling in my view, so I had to slap it out of the way every few minutes.
FLOYD JMy problem may not necessarily be with the location though; your systems were giving them, and your app me, grief. Namely, pictures wouldn't upload. It was incredibly frustrating and aggravating for all who participated.
Gregory HThey were very kind, but we had multiple issues. They didn’t write in the return location that we had agreed on before we left. We weren’t given any paperwork so when we went to check it in, we had a hard time since it was after hours. We use the dropbox to return the key. The next day we received an email saying our truck was not returned. I spent 45 minutes, trying to resolve this. I had to call the Main U-Haul number. That lady was extremely kind and helpful but when she transferred me at the end of our 15 minute conversation, she transferred me to the wrong place. I had to explain all of this again. This lady had a snotty attitude from the beginning, but she did end up helping me. She gave me the number to the place that we returned it to then I had to call that location and explain it again. The carpet Brothers hardware was nice and helpful and had my truck logged in within 15 minutes.
