Windshield wiper on drivers side was terrible - torn in middle - rained for eight hours. Side mirror on passenger side would not stay in place . Needed to stop and adjust at least 30 times

Your website is terrible. I don't understand why you can't check availability at local dealers without having to complete the whole rental process. Even your online reps can't check local inventory. Real time inventory tracking is simple and I don't get why you haven't figured it out. It was completely unacceptable that the dealer for my rental, that a uhaul rep set up by the way, was not there when I went to pick it up. I'm willing to pay more to go with a company that can keep their promises going forward. I won't be using uhaul again.

they rented it so someone with my address, my email and NOT to anyone I have ever heard of, When I called the dealer, not only did he keep calling me "Hon" he said he had no clue how this happened, Said he had no idea how this could happen, DAH!!! is n't the driver license of ID checked??????? I made my reservation 8-10 days in advance on the advice of the Representative in Altoona, PA where I was to pick up a small truck and car transport. I called to verify the day before pick-up and was told that they had the car transport they had no truck for a one way rental. They had more than a dozen "local only" trucks. There were trucks in the surrounding area but they had insufficient staff to go for one. In the end, I drove 70 miles round trip to acquire they necessary equipment. I did get a discount, but the time I lost was valuable to me. I don't know if the fault lies with the dealer in Altoona, or with corporate, but my experience was not a positive one. That said, once I did U-Haul's job and delivered the equipment, the rest of the trip was fine.
