Truck was clean, but engine light was on and there was almost no gas in the tank (under 20%, 88 mile estimate). This is very annoying, because it means on a stressful and already-busy moving day, the first thing I have to do is unexpectedly run to a gas station to fill a vehicle that should be functional when picked up. I have never picked up a rental truck or vehicle with an empty tank. The engine light never turned off the whole time I had the truck.
