The only saving grace to this location was the employee/owner? who was working in there when I came to pick up the 15’ truck I had reserved 6 weeks in advance. Pick up was scheduled for 9am. I received a text at 8:30a saying my truck was delayed and to show up at 11:30a. When I arrived the computer was down and we sat and waited for 30 minutes for it to come back up. The employee kept warning us that we may not get a truck that day. Then, once the computer came back online, we were told they had given my truck to someone else earlier that morning. What! He brought around another one (after looking for 15 minutes) and was preparing the paperwork. I asked if the truck had been cleaned and inspected. He said no. He did the inspection and discovered the truck had 4 bald tires. As we were preparing for a 2,700 mile trip that was a no go. Also, the dolly and 10 packing blankets I had reserved were not there. The employee found a 20’ truck and rented it to me for the price of a 15’ one. That’s a positive. 2 and a half hours later we finally had a truck, but no supplies. The employee knew what a disaster this experience was and gave us some concessions to make up for it, which was appreciated. All in all a stressful experience but it all turned out in the end. But why is U-Haul renting moving vans that are not mechanically sound? Come on U-Haul. Do better.

This was above and beyond keep it up
ERROL BI will never use U-Haul again. We were not informed about all insurances. We got randome calls. Information was somehow changed after pick up and was incorrect.

William MThe roller dolly’s we ordered weren’t available along with the amount of furniture covers? That should be known on the app when ordering. They also didn’t specify a time that the truck needed dropped off so we ended up with a late fee
