No check for equipment was done prior to our arrival. We selected for there to be a furnature dolly which we desperately needed. Only for the women at front desk to say they didnt have any. She didnt do a check around the truck or inside the truck prior to our pick up because there was shards of glass inside. And she said she doesnt know whats in the trucks because she hasn't checked. (So there could have been a dolly but she just didn't know.) This location in Bracebridge has many poor reviews. No one recommends that location. I would review this location and potential revoke their partnership with Uhaul. We needed a truck because of our move. We were hours behind because we had to go track down a dolly. Horrible service that way.

It had 5-6” of pure ice all over the front of the vehicle took over an hour of my booked time to clean it off. Then was barely able to get out of the parking lot as it had a bunch of snow infront of it. Then it was not able to even drive in the skim of snow as the tires were slick and spinning and insanely unsafe. I was not even offered a refund or any compensation and that truck put me in very unsafe situations.

OLIVER RThe equipment wasn't ready to be driven off the lot. It was covered in snow and took around an hour to dislodge and free it from the ice. Wheels were stuck. When I approached the attendant on duty, her reply was that she is alone at the location and that she cant do or call anyone for assistance. That said that same attendant should no be working in a service industry due to her abruptness and rudness.
