The staff guy was rude not only with me with everybody standing there. Truck was clean but the screen showing that there is breaking error.

This was by far the worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever had. I had booked my U-Haul for 10:00 AM, but due to multiple issues at the pickup location, we didn’t get the vehicle until 12:00 PM and could only start driving around 12:45 PM. Almost one hour of our four-hour booking was wasted, which completely disrupted our moving plan. The staff member at the convenience store was very unhelpful. He kept saying the servers were down but did not guide customers on what to do next. We had to figure out how to contact customer service on our own and then share the information with other customers who were also waiting for their pre-booked vehicles. The vehicle we received was in terrible condition. It was covered in snow, one of the wipers was not working, there was no windshield washer fluid, and the dashboard showed an air pressure warning. Driving in these conditions was stressful and unsafe. I have photos to prove this. There was also a delay in getting the keys because the lockbox was frozen. The staff said he had to pour hot water to open it, even though he knew customers were arriving and should have checked this beforehand. Overall, there was a clear lack of accountability. I also felt uncomfortable with how the staff treated customers—he appeared to only assist people from his own community while ignoring others, including those who arrived earlier. We were not even informed properly about key pickup or customer support. I have used U-Haul 5–6 times in the past and always had good experiences, which makes this one especially disappointing. I wasted a lot of time and money, had to rush my move, and felt like my entire day was ruined. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider using or recommending U-Haul in the future
