First off I called and reserved a trailer for a specific time and date. 14 hours prior to pick up I get a call from a location 100 miles away telling me I need to pick up the trailer at a new less convenient and farther location. On the next day for pick at 8:00 am. The location didn’t open till 9:00am with my text still stating for a 8:00am pickup. When I arrived I was told to wait till “the other guy gets here, he should be 20 mins” or I can choose to go meet him at a random location, to then return back and get the trailer. So I wait 35 mins for a kid to come tell me I need to go to a new 3rd location even more out of my way and I had a moving crew waiting at my house to load said trailer. The cost was ridiculously high and after using credit card to reserve I wanted to pay debit and was told that debit will be another $60 charge no refund even though my card was on file. No I will never rent another U-Haul, I wouldn’t recommend it and in fact I will try to get some reimbursement for the crew costs, 2hrs wasted, and the extra travel and fuel costs I had to deal with. Fuck you uhaul

James Mfigure out your billing. i was told it was .99¢ a mile. no where does it say you shiesters were to convert miles into km and charge 1.50$ per km. that’s false advertising. sounds like a good civil law suit to me. if yall are advertising 99¢ per mile then you should be charging 99¢ per mile. not impressed that you guys don’t provide conversion rates on the website. put your WHOLE website in canadian dollars if that’s what you want to charge as for the extra km this lady is tryn charge me im not impressed and would like for this to be resolved. at this point i will wait for a response before i pay all these extra KM instead of miles. remember false advertising is a crime. i’ll be glad to go to court over this. hope yall take this response into consideration. thanks for your time
