We picked the truck up in rapid City at 4pm. We were called around 10am the next morning, to find out how our move was going. The person questioned whether we would be at our destination on time. We still had more than a day left. We did not do any excursion driving and went over the allotted mileage. At the receiving place. Noone was there. We dropped the truck off 4 hours early with over a half tank of gas and were only given credit for the 3/8 we picked it up with.People from another business showed us where a key drop off was. When we got to our storage, we discovered the truck had leaked during the very rainy trip. There was no means readily available to report this. A few days later we received a phone call inquiring if we still had the truck. We advised that we had already turned the truck in early as we had been told during the 1st call that the truck was a turn around. We never heard back if it had been found. We received our final receipt and were charged for 5 extra miles although we had done no extra driving outside the move. Drop off points should at least have a contact person available or a method to report issues 1st hand. Mileage needs to be a bit more than just from pick up to drop off to allow travel to loading, lodging and unloading during the move.
