Donna LEquipment was not ready, no one was on site at the time of my reservation and had to wait over 30 min for someone to get there. The employee was very friendly and helpful but the overall experience was not great. The box truck assigned to me did not drive very well on the interstate. At any speed over 45 the truck pulled to one side, every bump hit sounded like the front end had something loose. Got horrible gas mileage due to the steering being off and not being able to keep the truck straight most of the time. Would highly recommend having the truck serviced and the front end looked at, I spent way more in fuel than it should have been.
CHRIS WI strongly suspect this location is executing questionable business practices, by adding insurance to the reservation against the customer’s express declaration. While processing my pick up, a female customer called asking for a refund on the insurance charged to them against their request, to which the owner/operator of the location said the police told her she had to do it, and as the owner/operator she reserves the right to add it even if the customer declines. Following the call, she then asked me if I wanted insurance, which I declined, and later upon review of the receipt found that I too was charged insurance. When I called to request a refund, she proceeded to tell me she she had no ability to not charge it, that it’s system automated (which, from my many rentals with UHaul and my reservation I know to be inaccurate). I’m considering reporting this location to the Cheyenne, WY BBB and as a military member, to the Travel Management Office (TMO) at FE Warren AFB, WY.
