Your verification process was TERRIBLE!!! I wasted 20 mins trying to pick up the truck. I don't understand why you need to call someone else to verify it's me. You already ask for a picture. A picture of the front and back of my ID but then you still need to call someone else?!? How does that help verify anything if I'm providing the phone number of who to call?

The app is terrible. No expectations are properly set before you get there so I had to burn an extra hour getting the docs to approve the rental. The order listed blankets which I didn't order, then weren't there, and thankfully weren't on the receipt. return steps were even worse. I had the car back at the spot before I realized I had to put gas in. I then had to go find a gas station and burn an extra couple of miles. The gas refill on the meter on the side of the van doesn't help. Tell me the size of the gas tank. I can do the math. Finally when I got back I remembered that the app said I would get charged for convenience fee for leaving the keys in the overnight dropoff box (if after hours), but then the app said to leave the keys in the overnight box, and right as I was checking everything off in the app the last screen showed me a checklist where one of the items was that I had returned the key to the original box I had gotten it from. I immediately jumped on the text chat, which took me another half hour of waiting to find out that I should have dropped the key in the dropbox. I walked back and took it out of the original box and put it in the overnight box. I burned 2 extra hours dealing with that app, all because it couldn't communicate in advance what I'd need to do ahead of time, had way too many steps, and contradicted itself.

Our contract clearly said 'One way'. When we got to original store, they processed paperwork. THEN they said, 'Oh, no, we don't want to let that equipment go to Ohio'. had to take uber to the Elston ave store. They were great. very disappointing to waste our time like that.

Uhaul fraudulently charged me 353.15, when I Spoke to the merchant he told me that I should not of received any additional charges that the truck was returned in perfectly clean condition. I was told by the merchant that my original charge of 190 some dollars was the only charge I should've received and that the truck was stolen from his lot several days after I had returned the truck successfully U-Haul managers have now told me that they've had to launch an investigation while my money is tied up indefinitely for reasons no one can explain

Unforunately for uhaul I ran the fleet for Grainger. The fact that you do not have a centralized Risk Mgmt system is abhorrent. Our truck broke down 3x. First night was a battery swap even though we knew it was the alternator. 90 MINUTE WAIT JUST TO TALK TO A HUMAN is unacceptable. The battery was swapped and low and behold we were stranded the next day with what mechanic 1 said would be a repair that required belts and parts. WRONG it was the alternator after mechanic 2 took a second look because we REFUSED to release Uhaul from liability to swap a 28 ft truck of items out w private movers. That second repair took FIVE HOURS to reach us then after we were towed we were dumped in a closed uhaul parking lot w no instruction. Let me rephrase that. We were abandoned in your closed lot at night. If someone would've gotten hurt that would have been your liability. We WALKED to a cafe to CALL YOU since your company did not provide any assistance or instruction once the tow was complete. Absolutely nuts. Then our 3rd service call was due to a faulty oil gauge in your truck in the middle of Eloy, AZ. Do you know where Eloy is? Nowherville. Finally. The absolutely most hysterical part of your poor service was that our calls were with a diff person every time. Why is this not centralized? I waited 30 minutes at the very least to call in each issue. Then I got angry and turned to social media and tweeted and your rotten company responded in less 5 minutes. I'm trying hard not to curse. I cant think of a company doing any worse. I will never use or recommend this company ever again. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and posting this story on social media bc this was insane. The lack of the ability to talk to one person handling a claim and following it or the lack of the ability to talk to a person and get a timely response is outrageous. I can't even come up with the words for how poorly your company handled our move. The only good part were your outside vendors. You should be ashamed to work for Uhaul and to the person reading this. There are WAY better companies out there. I bet uhaul benefits are garbage too.

This was by far the WORST experience I have EVER had with U-Haul. It took calling over 10x to 'resolve' the issue and it was still never resolved. If this was my first experience I would never use your company.

Thank goodness for the Elston pickup. Van's Carwash, on S Ashland, double-booked my reservation, did not have a mobile pickup spot (or not one that was evident after circling the building three times), and all of the trucks were parked on the street. One of them was smashed up, with a broken side mirror and scraped up side. Many thanks to the reservation agent who extended my time without charging me any more.

There was a problem with my pickup at this location. The vehicle assignment was not complete, despite getting a confirmation the day before, which did not allow me to pick it up. I couldn't access the lock box. The site manager did not answer multiple (at least 5 over a 20-30 min period) phone calls from myself or from Uhaul customer service, and had no voice mail set up. This is supposed to be the person in charge of the pickup site to call for "24/7 service". It took over an hour to fix the problem and get my truck from here.

The engine was running too high. I drove 15 miles, did not idle with the engine running at any time, and the gas gauge indicated that I burned over 4 gallons of gas. No vehicle should be burning fuel at that rate.
