This was a nightmare... on Nov 1 2025 I was told two (2) seperate rentals were "guaranteed" which was false... so i was forced to drive around for almost 3 hours of driving until I was finally able to secure a truck and trailer... but both we filthy, the rep complained about Uhaul and there processes to me (the customer) my trailer was in a muddy field which caused the truck to get stuck.... no help was offered... I had to hook up everything up myself like it was a self serve center... shaking my head... and when I asked for help I was told it would be $20 bucks cash?? Wtf is that about?!... Then I was told that by a uhaul rep over the phone that because of my "guaranteed rentals" not being available (TWICE) I would be entitled to Uhauls $50 "guaranteed reservation fee" payment which would arrive within 7 days by a Uhaul rep on the phone... its now almost been a month and nothing has been sent... I reached out to Uhaul by live chat (today - Nov 24, 2025) and was left "on hold" by two (2) separate reps for over 10 minutes each with no responses... Honestly... not a good experience...

First of all, my first 15ft truck was guaranteed in Cochrane... then the rental was changed to the 26 ft truck and pushed out to a further town (1.5 hours away) only to have this next place say the second guaranteed uhaul truck was not available now... then I was sent back to the first town for a 10ft truck... which ended up causing us to leave items behind because the size was wrong. Then this place complained about uhaul to me (the customer) listing all the promblems he has with dealing with uhaul as a company, he cursed and was rude, and we had to wait on him multiple times because the counter was unattended... then at the time of pay they refused to take cash or debit and I had to call customer service for assistance in taking the payment... then I had to call back again because the clerk still wouldn't give the truck, so I had to call uhaul for a third time to email me the receipts because he couldn't find it in the system... all around it was a complete nightmare... never again.

STEPHANE LI'm very disappointed with the service I received. I had originally booked a truck in Timmins. I then received a call a few days later saying Timmins did not have a truck and I needed to go to Cochrane to pick it up. I was then not only expected to pay for the extra miles for no reason but I was expected to bring the truck back to Cochrane and pay for those miles as well. I thought the point of U-Haul was that you could drop the truck off at any location? A very disappointing and sad experience especially when no uhaul workers could help me out or even call head office to try and figure something out. So a 300 dollar job turned into 600 dollars for no reason. Very upsetting
