A walk about the vehicle before the trip would be helpful.

All was good.

Trailer was very dirty on the exterior and caked with mud and frozen snow/ice from last trip. Had to take it to a car wash to clean it off prior to use.

Our experience with U-Haul was very good. The equipment was clean, in good order and everything worked as explained. I would highly recommend to anyone that needs to move items to contact U-Haul.

convenient location staff were quick and effecient

The guy who gave us the uhaul didnt explain how to unhook it, site was impossible to navigate for after hours drop off.

Nice customer service, good location.

Problems with the network caused the pickup process to take almost 45 minutes. Then we needed to switch trailers because a tail tight wasn't working. I have issues like this every time I use Uhaul. I come back because it's cheap, but that's the only reason. Everything else is a hassle, the call center is useless, and the online reservations don't work.

Drop off location was great. No problems!

The trailer I rented had a flat tire right out of the gate. I noticed it and was able to rent a different trailer. The new one had a bald tire and only had about half of the running lights working. I was only using it during the day so it wasn't an issue, but clearly needing maintenance all around. Still the cheapest trailer rental around and the customer service at this particular location was great. The people at the call center always disappoint me every time.

My Experience with both locations was good, where the "wheels fell off" so to speak had to do with the reservation of the equipment to begin with. This is the second time in 2 years I have used U-Haul ( or attempted to). Last year at the same exact time there was a computer glitch that allowed multiple reservations on single trucks, which left me without a truck on moving day, and the only option was for me to somehow get to Salmon Arm BC to get the truck, I found another truck somewhere else that time. This year the truck was reserved fine, but I phoned back and reserved a car-dolly and everything seemed to go fine, the day before I phoned back again to confirm and low and behold, no car dolly. This put me in a position of having to get a ride back from Edmonton to Cranbrook BC to get my car (1600 kms round trip) and an entire day of inconvenience to boot. I dropped off the truck in Edmonton without worry, and just got slapped with a fuel charge of about 20, not a big deal, but the needle was in basically the same spot as when I left Cranbrook.

Immediately told us that we couldn't take the route we tried and said we should have been told that when we picked it up. Did not charge us for extra miles due to wildfires.

Excellent staff suggested we call the 1-800 # and demand our money back

They did check the oil and tire pressure after I asked them to. Would have been nice if they supplied places where I was able to drop off the van in Burnaby. Otherwise, pickup was fine.

Trailer drop off was quick and easy, person was helpful and pleasant.

We called the U-Haul 1-800 number during our trip and we were told by a rep that we could get a partial refund if we brought it back a day early. We found out that was untrue after spending the entire night unloading so we could have it back early. We were also told that our vehicle insurance did not cover the UHaul truck, but we called ICBC to find out that our insurance did cover it so that was a waste of money as well.
