They charge me cleaning fee for no reason
GUSTAVE CThe attendant who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful and the 10 foot truck we rented was perfectly clean. But the truck had two issues: 1) there may be a transmission problem with this truck. Above 55 mph, the engine revving seemed extremely high (and loud!) as if the transmission should have shifted into a higher gear. Accordingly, I kept the speed to 55 mph on the highway. 2) The fuel gauge on the truck seemed very inaccurate. The gauge barely moved during the 65 miles we drove the truck but when I refilled the gas tank, the gauge needle started a bit below the halfway mark (we began with a bit above the halfway mark). After adding seven gallons of gas, the needle had not moved at all. I figured the truck would be getting at least 10 mpg so seven gallons should have been sufficient to cover 65 miles, but we were charged for an additional two gallons of gas. The point here is that it was impossible to tell how much gas to add to avoid additional charges.
JOHN Stell them that you charge $1.29 per mile. I did not know...(I don't use U-haul often...in fact, it was my first time) Otherwise, friendly and competent staff!
OLIVER FDarren and crew were great. Theyu were on time. Loaded our 300 sq. ft. Storage unint into a 20 ft.Uhaul Truck. I would highly recommend to anyone. Darren had varous methods to load even the most delicate pieces with Glass with his variious hard trucks. Nothing broken. Use this group, you'll be happy. They did not take breaks. just did it and within the time limit.
