The employee was great, but the whole experience was frustrating. Next time I’ll just get a truck from Lowe’s where it doesn’t have all the hidden fees and isn’t as sketchy. To rent the truck for 2 hours cost me $75.67 (after gas). The truck was falling apart. The steering wheel was gross, the lever to slide the driver seat forward was broken, the person before me clearly didn’t top off the tank. Although the dial looked full, when I filled up it was 4.9+ gallons. Even with a big truck, 11 miles shouldn’t have been 4.9 gallons. Don’t blame it on weight because when it was loaded for 4 miles I only hauled a mattress, box spring, metal bed riser and mirror, not full and heavy. Ugh, I have so many regrets renting this truck.
