I rented a 26' truck booked it online then a rep called me and confirmed. Next day they message and say 26' truck is suddenly unavailable and say the 20' truck is if I want that instead.... What choice do I have at this point? There are no other moving truck rental companies in this town.... Next day I get another message, now the 20' truck is also suddenly unavailable! The 15' truck is though if I want that instead.... Again I have absolutely zero choice so yeah sure whatever.. I'm told they'll give me a break on the mileage and charge $0.99 instead of $1.19 since I'll now have to make 2 trips. I go to pick up the truck, their systems are down, it took forever. I return the truck. Look at my bill later that day they charged me the same mileage for the 15' truck as they do for the 26'truck so they didn't honor their word on giving me a break on the mileage plus charged an extra $40 for 2 missing moving blankets. $260 to move from my old house to my new one which is less then 10 mins away. If there was any other options to rent a moving truck in my town I likely wouldn't recommend this company

I had a 5 x 8 trailer reserved and on my hour drive to pick it up got a call that the trailer would not be available until the following day. Major inconvenience . I picked it up the next day and all good except they had a drop off location for Bouctouche when i had already indicated i wanted St. Louis as the drop off as it is close to my residence. Called U Haul dispatch in Halifax and he changed the drop off point to St. Louis.

J BTwo issues: The man who attached the trailer to the vehicle at the U-Haul dealership did not fully tighten the trailer to the hitch - it came loose on the road and could have caused an accident if we were going faster. Second issue the back door is very difficult to move ... you can tell it is bent a little or the slide is bent. Difficult to move unless you use a lot of strength. Otherwise if was ok.
