Christopher LThe Van was all broken and cracked in the back when I got it. As soon as I opened the door it smelled like a farm. Strong odor of God only knows what. My friend and I picked up the U-Haul Van and we are both woman. I needed a Dolly for the move. Instead of the guy being a nice guy or a gentlemen he put the dolly outside the office and said here pretty much drap it to the truck yourself. Throw it in the back yourself I ain't doing it attitude. I couldn't believe it. You would think a man would have done that for woman but nope not him. On-top of all that they had the Van and driver side Parked in a huge water puddle. I had to climb in the other side. When I brought back the van I didn't understand some of the charges and when I asked questions all the other guy could say was it is what it is that's what the computer said etc. So I just paid and left. Wish someone else had U-Haul in our city but it's the only place. Makes things very uncomfortable.

My main concern is I reserved a 26 ft truck for Bathurst NB on July 27 and one day before pickup Traffic Control downgraded my reservation to a 20 ft truck and I would have to pick up in Miramichi which is 1 hour way. I had a three bedroom house going to Ottawa it would not have been possible with a 20 ft truck. I call Traffic Control and all I had as a responce was sorry. We had sold our house and we had to move out. During discussion she received a cancellation for a 26 foot truck so that was resolved but still had to pick up in Miramichi. It appears that uHaul does not care much about providing service at the proper location with the proper equipment...I will never deal with them anymore...it became tense and I could have been in a mess...yes saved by a cancellation. I will need a truck in approx 12 months for another move but now I'm in Ottawa there is competition so no way I will trust Uhaul.
