I put in the reservation that I would return the truck by 5 pm when they closed. When I picked up the truck, they told me if I had the unit returned by the next morning (less than 24 hours) I would be charged for one day. I returned the truck prior to opening the next morning. When I received the receipt, I was charged for two days. I returned to the truck rental place and they told me they don’t know why the national office charged me for two days. I called the national office and they told me if, for example, I reserved a truck for 4 hours and returned it after 5 hours, I would be charged for a second day. This is such a scam. Next time I will rent a truck from Ryder or Penske. Never UHaul.
