The payment system wasn’t working and it took multiple attempts on the sales side to figure out how to take my payment. The truck we took had a check engine light on and a burnt out headlight and when we told the sales associate he just shrugged his shoulders. I only needed the truck for a very short time so I made it work.

Reserved a cargo van to move some furniture but the van was dead when I tried to start it. The attendant tried jumping the van but couldn't get it started either. Ended up leaving and I couldn't get a truck anywhere as everything was booked. This was my last day off to move and now I have to take time off to move on another day before the end of the month. Like we live in cold weather up north. I dont understand why they dont plug in their vehicles in -30 weather
Jocelyn SWhile we got the job done, I would let my friends know that we got the job done but did not appreciate the experience. After booking, I got an email with a different address. We went to the address for our 5pm booking and did not know where to go. At 5:10pm, we got an email with the original address. The customer service was poor. He did the job but I felt ignored and he was not friendly.
Ashton GWhen I showed up at 8am the attendant was not present in the office. I had to bang on the side door of the attached apartment to wake him up. After he did wake up, the attending agent had no idea how to hook the trailer up, and it was absolutely buried in snow. I was required to clean the roof off and dig out the tongue just to attach it to my truck. Irritating but not the end of the world… the trailer was rented specifically to haul a motorcycle to Edmonton and once I got home in my driveway I realized the tie downs were broken off the inside, essentially making the trailer useless. The lights weren’t all working, the door opened twice while driving, and the most irritating part was that I dropped it off Monday and the agent told me to “drop it anywhere there was space.”… I drop the trailer and then I see an additional $55 charge because he didn’t even check it back in until Tuesday so I was charged an additional day as well as an extra day of collision. Overall, it was about a 1/10 and I highly doubt I will be renting from U-haul again in the future.
