All in all pretty good. The lady there that I spoke with on the phone was a bit salty. I called because I was running a little late (less than an hour) coming from across the state. I told her that I'd be there shortly but had missed my scheduled noon pickup. She told me that the uhaul guy leaves at 1:00 pm so I needed to get there before that. I walked in at 12:40, and she proceeded to tell me that if I was more than 5 minutes later than my scheduled time, she could have just cancelled the rental. Not exactly the pleasant hello I was hoping for. However, the gentleman that checked me in and got my truck situated, was extremely helpful and professional. He saved the day.

When I arrived to pick up my truck (a 26ft truck), we were told they did not have that truck. They told us to call U-Haul - it was over an hour wait on the phone. I received a confirmation the week prior that my truck was confirmed. Even in the app that day, it said confirmed. So why did they not have the truck? I was then told I could cancel my order and place a new reservation for the small truck they had on hand. Which is what I had to do since I could not get in contact with U-haul. This ended up forcing me to make 2 trips back and forth with the small truck instead of 1 trip with the big truck. Which then I had to pay extra mileage for!! Absolutely ridiculous.
William PThe manager was using his phone app to do the rental. He was showing me on his 6 inch screen I couldn't read. He made me go on my phone to scan in my ID to the website. I did his job for him. He didn't bring the vehicle to me. up or do a walkaround to check for damage or verify the mileage..He just gave me key and started walking away. I asked him where was it parked. It was on the corner of the lot. He started walking away again. Where do I park my car. Oh, on the line with trailers. The truck was parked an inch away from a pole. I moved it forward carefully. The gas tank was at less than the stated 1/4 tank. The walkaround would have caught that. Using the app to rent the truck has serious, obvious issues. It pissed me off. You guys suck.
