This comment is for the 24-7 truck share tool. My reservation was for 12pm but somehow was recorded for 11am. When I showed up at 12:10pm I could not pickup my truckâ€¦the app removes the ability to pick it up after a certain period of time (1 hour?) I wasted 25 minutes attempting to log into app over and over again, the calling the local dealer and after a long hold just being transferred to a National person who could actually help me. She had to reset my reservation. Kudos to LaToya, but thumbs down to the software used for 24/7 truck share and to the local dealer who isn't of much use in pinch.Casey W.

First off, there were 0 employees at this location. This review is unrelated to the quality of Uhaul employees' work. Terrible service for a terrible price. For future customers, know that Uhaul will keep you waiting for no reason at all, and there will be no recourse for whether or not uhaul allows you to use the rental you've paid for. Reserve for a long period of time since Uhaul will eat up at least 1 hour of your reservation just in checking out and returning the equipment.Brian R.

The mobile pickup and drop-off process was a complete failure. There were website issues uploading required photos, and was one of the most frustrating experiences only saved by your customer service representative, Jessica Angle, who was professional and compassionate. She was the only saving grace in the process. Overall, this mobile process should either be significantly modified or abandoned altogether, as it is currently the single best advertisement for Penske.Jeffrey L.

Nobody there to help; truck would not start--finally got somebody to drop off a truck; nobody to help when app didn't work to check-in; spent over an hour on hold with various U-Haul numbers to get help---huge waste of time to use the 24/7 option. However, once I got through to a person they were courteous and did finally resolve the problem. But, again, there shouldn't have been the problems to start with or ridiculous hold times. When we received the truck it was dead. We didn't finish the check in because we couldn't confirm mileage or gas. But the app proceeded to accept the truck anyways without us clicking anything. We had to wait an hour and a half to get roadside assistance out there to start the truck. The employee who set up the truck, had left the keys in the ignition on acc. Thats why the truck was dead.Estuardo C.
There needs to be a more secure way of locking the inside storage units as anyone who has access to the inside units can easily use a Phillips screwdriver and easily remove any style lock that is used to lock your unit. Also cracks in the flooring in units & also in one of my units, I rented 2 units you could easily see space into the the unit on the other side along the vertical wall. The mobile check-in was a hassle. Too many steps to rent the van and do I get mobile made it more complicated. It took almost an hour to even rent the van once we got to the location. I do not recommend mobile pick up in the future.Donnie W.

I made a reservation weeks ago online- no where online did it say Gainesville wasn't multiple day rentals. I was advised by another Gainesville location to call the Main Street location. I politely asked the employee over the phone for accommodations, before I could even finish my sentence I was RUDELY cut off. I asked to speak to someone else and was informed I was already speaking to the manager. The manager at Main Street uhaul should be fired, even under stress you should be Er twat a customer the way I was treated, she was incredibly rude and could care less about the individuals sge encounters, it was clear she couldn't be bothered.meghan G.
