In Jan 2026 we were informed of our July 2026 move out date by an apartment complex. We promptly reserved a climate controlled unit for the move out. On three occasions minimum we verified the unit and pricing including one week prior to move in with the manager. Upon arrival to get our key for move in we were told there were no units, specifically no units with climate control. We were told our reservation did not guarantee availability of a unit. What?! After 45 minutes and multiple conversations with a manager in the phone a non climate controlled unit was discovered and provided. It was the most ridiculous series of interactions 8 have ever had after so much checking and verifying to go through so much time and frustration on move in day. Unbelievable!

This reservation was made well in advance.
