The van we rented was clearly not upkept well. Firstly we had issues with trying to fill the gas, it wouldn’t pump properly and took us 10 minutes to finally get 5 gallons in since the rental was on an empty tank of gas when we got it. We also believe the mileage counter is off, we were charged for 67 miles but after going over the route we did, we very clearly only drove 58 miles. 25 miles to our destination from pickup, 30 miles back and another 3 miles to drop off the car. Not sure how we ended up being charged for 67 miles after all that. The check engine light was also on the entire time we rented it so clearly the van needs to be taken in for maintenance.
