Have trucks checked out for safety 1st! When I stopped in MO with roadside uhaul, they told me the straps to hold my suv were not in place!

My car trailer broke and asked them if I could just tow it back to the closes sight, told me I could and wouldn't cost much. they tried to charge me 1,000 dollars after not mentioning that amount at all and tried to call me a lier. Like I said the location I got it from nice people and great service. U-haul as a company is awful.
