Were treated very well and all staff were friendly. The check in was very quick and we were provided a copy of the completed contract. Very satisfied with the overall effort by all staff.

we had reserved a truck to make a round trip out of town approx 250 Km each way when we got there they told us the only truck they had was only to stay in town.after a few phone calls it was decided that we could leave town with it and its summer tires, this was nice going to Fort Saint John and back on slippery roads not to mention South Taylor hill, then after we get to our location and unloaded try to return the truck and it would start but no power called the rental location and was told to call 800 number called it they told me just to drive it to location I told them it would not move ,so they said they would send a tech, over in 30 minutes 2 hours he arrives very nice fellow from a outer rental location he fixed the problem and said the truck should not even be on the road.I then returned the truck to here the dealer complain to me about my problems.

Pick up and drop off location places and people were great. Frustrated with how much of a process it turned out to be to get a truck or trailer. And then still recieve wrong vehicle. Was not fault of Rentco. Were just fortunate we did end up with a vehicle and at least not smaller than booked and at pick up location we requested. But had a lot of hastle and changing of booking dates, rearranging work shedule, to get the vehicle we needed, at a location not hours away, just to have it substituted after all.

The trailer rear door was dripping grease on the inside and ruined our shelf and matress and dripped all over the side of our living room fabric chair. When the door was opened my wife noticed it looked like paint on everything at the rear she touched it and realized it wouldn't remove from jer skin.

It would be nice if there was more equipment for rentals. Such as towing dollies. Overall this location was way more organized than the edmonton locations :)

actually have some trailers in stock. No stock whatsoever. reserved a tailer but when I went to get it they suddenly didn't have it. When I booked it online it says guaranteed or $50 off. Of course they have never heard of that before....

We had to drive 4 hours out of our way to pick this up. Called us 8 hrs before our rental pick up time to tell us!!!! Why book something months in advance and not have it available. This was the worst experience. We had to cancel our hotel and our ferry reservation to compensate for all your errors and lost money and had to pay for all the gas to drive to a location that was NO way near us. And customer care is a joke!! Picked the uhaul up and the check engine light is on and oil change required. Yet no one gave a shit. Tranny slipped the whole drive!!

The people at the Toolshed are the best uhaulers around. Uhaul itself needs to get more equipment in the north though.

As soon as we drove in a young man came out and got our keys. While we went inside to finish our paperwork he checked everything over. Great service.

The person I dealt with was in a bad mood and really looked like she didn't want to be there. The Truck was dirty inside and out and the back tires where bald. When I asked the yard guy about the tires he said don't worry if it goes flat just call the 1-800 # .lol The truck ran good but not very well maintained for northern Alberta roads in the winter!!!

My experience with the dealer at the Tool Shed in Grande Prairie Alberta was very poor. They did not have the truck that I had pre-booked. Gave me a smaller truck with a VERY small trailer saying it would make up the difference, which it did not! This made our move 3 times the work. I was never notified on the change nor on what location I was to pick up from. I was not given the opportunity to make other arrangements. The wires on the trailer were stripped, resulting in a drained battery in our 1 ton diesel truck. When we asked the dealer "Is this how Uhaul operates?" Their response was "yes, over booking their equipment is how they work" We will never deal with Uhaul again!!!!

The lights on the first trailer were not all functional. Both the trailer I rejected and the trailer I accepted were obviously 20+ years old. The one I received was suitable for my needs and quite clean. However, there were some exposed wiring that hung somewhat low from one corner of the trailer.
