I booked my trailer on February 23rd for pick up on Sunday March 1st. I identified that I would drop if off in Emsdale, Ontario (Location #059269). I also called ahead to say I would pick it up between 10 am and 12 noon. I arrived at 11 am to pick up the trailer and it took over an hour with paperwork and incorrect information. I was told there was no drop off location listed so I had to call customer service to add the drop off location (the person said he was unable t change the location). I was on hold with customer service and when they changed the location they told me I would have to pay approximately $140 for the rental when my quote was for $42. Once I finally got everything straightened out, and paid for the trailer at the correct cost, I asked the attendant if I needed to do anything further and he said NO. Once I arrived at my destination and unloaded the trailer, I dropped it off at the Emsdale location, as noted on my receipt and this is the location I told them I would drop the trailer. However I then saw in my text that they had the drop off location as Powassin?? which I never even mentioned as the drop off location. Very poor customer service with respect to the booking and paperwork and a huge mix up. The attendant on duty was fine and polite but he was the only one at the location and it was also a convenience store, so there was a huge wait every time a customer came in, he would serve them even though I was there first and he was already dealing with me.

vehicle wasn’t inspected when i arrived, i wasn’t showed anything about it. i got to my location and the back door was stuck. multiple people tried, we brought it back and the guy couldn’t open it either. spent a long time trying to get another truck he wouldn’t let us. told us to call customer service than road side. it was a big ordeal for nothing on a already stressful day.

Raymond BThe vehicle was covered in snow and ice with no snowbrush/scraper available. I hade to climb on the tire and use my arm the best i could to remove the snow and had to run the truck until the ice melted on the windshield. The area where the truck was parked was full of snow and not the greatest for walking to. Being in Northern Ontario in December, it is unacceptable to not have a snowbrush in the vehicle. I question whether it had winter tires either, but fortunately i was only going a short distance. Inside i waited in line for all the customers to make their purchases and once i got to the counter, i was told to wait some more so the guy could help more customers before helping me, the same thing on return. Only reason i would rent from this location again is for the convenience of the distance to my house.
