I had to drive thirty minutes from my location to pick this trailer up and spent ten dollars in gas in the process. The price to rent this trailer one way to Central Florida was twice as much as it was to rent one when I came up to Maryland. Needles to say I will still use their service when I need to haul and move again. This was just one of those unfortunate experience I had with several moves in the past several years.

Quick and easy. Clean vehicle. We have used this location before, and we will use them again. Great customer service.

I am still waiting for a $40 dollar reimbursement for turning the trailer in early, but other then that everything was perfect. The man even came out and helped us, super nice.

Truck was old and didn't have any straps like the ad said it would. Need to upgrade their vehicles.

When we went to this location (HANOVER) the man helping us from inside the Sonoco (this was very bizarre and confusing to me when I got there... literally the cashier at the Sonoco apparently rents the uhauls) told us he was unable to help us attach our trailer. This was our first time and we had no clue what we were doing, plus you would think it would be super important to uhaul that this thing was attached safely and properly. We called uhaul and they sent him out to help us, but really this didn’t do anything to solve the fact that the man himself told us he couldn’t help us (reassuring...). Whether he meant he couldn’t or wouldn’t... I’m not sure. Turned out we needed to run to the store to buy a part. When we returned with the part we did not have confidence that this man knew what he was doing since he himself told us he couldn’t help us. We didn’t trust him. We attached the trailer ourselves (first time doing this) and drove to the Odenton location down the street to have it inspected by someone there to reassure us we did it properly. This man in Hanover should not be renting trailers if he is unable to do the install. PER UHAUL POLICY AS POSTED at the Odenton location “HELP ATTACH U-HAUL TRAILER TO YOUR CAR” is part of the service and we literally had to drive to a different location to get this service.

Rented a 17’ truck for a quick move across town. Used a grand total of 23.6 miles. I looked up how much fuel a 17’ truck typically burns and found that it’s roughly 10 miles per gallon. I did the math, (real brain buster) and decided I would put 3 gallons in to be safe. So I filled it up for 30 miles worth of driving. The gauge was at the 3/4 tank mark which is where it was when I picked it up. It was maybe on the lower side of the 3/4 line depending on the angle you looked at it. This guy was trying to be a stickler about it and made me put another gallon in which took it plenty over the 3/4 line or else he was going to penalize me for not being it back with enough gas. I thought it was funny that he didn’t seem to mind that the cabin smelled like someone had smoked ten packs a day in there for the entire life of the car. Nor did he even care about the old rusted over razor blade sitting in the cup holder that was already in the truck when I picked it up. But that little sliver of gas that he made me put in was really important to him. I even showed him my receipts and told him what the mpg for a truck that size should be. Instead his truck was running at about half the fuel economy that it should have been. It’s not my fault that he is the one that doesn’t maintain his fleet to be up to standards. I one hundred percent will never recommend this place to anyone. It would have been one thing if the guy was nice about it. I’m an easy going guy. This is literally the first review I’ve ever written about anything and I feel bad doing it. But after a day of grueling labor with a herniated disc in my lower back I feel like I’m allowed to be just a little bit grumpy. Although, I feel this warranted my reaction. I didn’t yell at the guy or anything. But I told him very nicely that I was ticked off about it. But hey, he got his money and I’m just one customer anyway. What can I do? I mean, we got the job done anyway and this place allowed us to do so but other than that I would not recommend.

Busy gas station with only one person working. It took forever to get helped because the guy (nothing against him personally) was having to help other people in addition. 3 out of 4 of the tires had low pressure, and the air pump was out of order at the gas station. Uhaul of Odenton at 1480 Annapolis Rd down the street was nice enough to air the tires up for me. I'd highly recommend going there instead.

My main complaint was that I was overcharged. They charged me double for moving equipment. I have reached out to them so I will update this response depending on the response I receive

The person who rented the uhaul used my email address and a fake phone number. I get all the emails from the the rental. This is annoying. The email address you sent as a way to resolve problems bounced back. Please remove my email from contract #96798659.

I was very satisfied with the rental and return experience

I opted for the 24/7 rental option. The app froze often during the 24/7 rental process. When I called the 24/7 number provided, the guy’s voicemail said he was on vacation. He did leave another contact number, but when I called that number it went to voicemail! I left a message and NEVER got a return call. Thankfully the gas station attendant was able to complete the rental. HOWEVER - The truck was dirty on the inside with trash left from last renter. The driver side backing light was not operational.

Location is a very busy gas station with one attendant on duty. The attendant must lock his counter before helping U-Haul customers. When the line gets long the attendant will stop helping the U-Haul customer. Makes for a very lengthy and annoying experience.

Would not recommend. I called to inquire about the cost of retaining rental another day as weather made unloading problematic. Was told $20 (cost of day rate), he neglected to mention that insurance would be charged again as well.

When I arrived, the gentleman checked me in. Handed me the key and pointed me to where the packing blankets were. I had to hunt around the parking lot trying my key in different trucks to find my truck.
