Experienced what felt like a bait and switch tactic on the part of U-haul reservations. Initially booked a 5x9 trailer for $112 but was informed two weeks later that the franchisee did not have the equipment. Eventually booked the same equipment for the same period of time but nearly 200 miles closer to my destination for $150, an increase of nearly 40%. In addition, live maggots on the floor of the trailer when I got to my load destination (20 minutes from the pickup location).

ARJA APick up location was changed at the last minute! Absolutely awful. Nothing was in working order. Guy working there had to book through his cell phone. Very stressful situation on top of an already stressful move. Uhaul did not make it easy for us at all! That is the second time! Uhaul sucks.
Andrew STrailer was mostly in good condition physically other than one tire sitting at 35 psi and the other at 55psi. Along with this the inside of the trailer had clumps of pinestraw or grass with several rusty screws inside.
