I dropped off a trailer after vacationing to Tybee Island and reserved another trailer for my return to Myrtle Beach to be picked up one week later. I had to drive 55 minutes to pick up the reserved trailer. That's ridiculous that after reserving it, I had to travel so far to pick it up. The gentleman at that pickup had no personality at all. "What do you need?" "Credit card" "back up out there". When I arrived at my home, I returned the trailer. I pulled into the return equipment area. A guy came out and pointed to another trailer at the other end of the building and said, "pull around and back up and park it beside that other one. It was 100 degrees, real feel 114 and I'm handicapped. He was back inside when I got the trailer positioned, about 50 yards away, and I had to unhook the trailer myself. I then walked inside and he gave me a thumbs up from his seating position at the desk. Nothing more. Your customer service sucks. No more U-Haul's for me.
Carl FI had to reserve the dam truck three times. The first two got canceled. I still had to go way out of my way. Your dispatch is a mess. They could have easily transferred a truck from the location I picked it up at to the pooler location where I was moving from. Bunch of unorganized, terrible customer service staff. U haul used to be extremely reliable. Now you're lucky to get a truck on the day you need it. What changed? Probably a new CEO... piss poor management at uhaul now.
