The guy that unhooked the trailer for me was very nice and timely. I told him about an issue that I had with the auto transport unit about the tire straps being too short. He said he put in a request to lengthen the auto transport straps by a foot and a half a while back. That is a good thing. It would help a lot of your customers out. The Jeep I was hauling had only slightly larger tires than stock and the straps were too short by a couple of inches. I managed to improvise, but having longer straps in the first place would have made the equipment way more usable for me.

JAMES MLocation was primarily a tire shop and not a UHaul dealer.
ROBERT HThe place was closed for five days. You need a jack for these trailers so us older folks can unhook them. Or if no one at dropout location, then let us change dropoff location to somewhere else that has someone to help unhook without charging us a wrong address fee.
DEBRA FI rented a 6x12 trailer by phone from the central office not the actual location. The pick up time was 7am. The location doesn’t open until 8. If I hadn’t checked with the local store I would’ve been out of luck since I needed the trailer before they opened. The original call assured me that everything would be fine and I would receive a call from someone to confirm all the details. I never received the call. I think there’s a disconnect between corporate office and local dealers. I think all reservations should be made at the local level to prevent these kinds of issues
