Passengers side window was left open so there was water on the inside floor matts. Not a computer guy so I struggled a little getting checked in and getting the keys

There is a disconnect between the UHaul website and the franchise operator, such that the website didn’t update the franchise records that the trailer was engaged and the contract was underway. Then the customer service agents threatened me that I would be charged with stealing the trailer that I had a contract to rent. Finally, while I was engaged in connecting the trailer to my truck, there was a lady there who was frantically trying to open the lock box that holds the keys for the truck she rented, and she couldn’t open the lock. I stopped to help her, and with great difficulty, I was finally able to open her lock so she could get her keys. It is obvious that the franchise owner pays no attention to the facility equipment because this rusted lock didn’t happen overnight. If I hadn’t helped this poor lady, she would not have been able to obtain the vehicle she rented. Then after I contacted the franchise owner, they made me repeat and re-enter the same data that I had used to rent the trailer.

Philip BRemote pickup of a U-Haul vehicle is a great idea. This was my first experience. Computer problems made over the phone scanning of license difficult. Also the lack of vehicle return instructions needs improvement. I still haven’t received a final bill.
richard eJunk from previous renter inside. Location is unmanned, and the expectation is I woul pick up the trailer unassisted. I had to ask a truck driver making a delivery nearby to help me lift the tongue onto the ball. The location is a parking area behind a strip plaza - sketchy as hell.
