This location did not have the Uhaul I reserved and claimed that they only had trucks owned by them. The truck was needed for a move and drop off over 200 miles away, forcing me to pay more money and drive the truck back after the move was complete. Again, this wasn't what I reserved. In the process there was a computer system brake failure that required maintenance. The tech who came out to fix the problem noted that this error has happened before, yet the part still hasn't been replaced. Altogether the service at this location is very poor. The front desk associate that assisted me was very sweet, but she seemed to be extremely over worked and in need for more training. Leadership rubs off on the front line staff and clearly this location has none. Once I agreed to take their truck it still took over an hour to receive while it was parked and ready to go. Tried to talk this over with customer service and they were not any better. Raymond and James from roadside assistance were class acts in helping me get the repairs needed!AUSTIN M.

The person who checked me in when I got there it was awesome. After a rough week of moving and many rude people he was a breath of fresh air. And the young man that checked us out was also very friendly and he was great on the telephone when I called in the late afternoon. Thankful for the experience I appreciate itDANA W.

Clearly state pickup truck is only for 3 hours. We needed it for longer and would have booked it for 2 hr if we had known. Our bill ended up being $115 dollars for 4.5 hrs use. I also am not sure our starting time was correct. We've used haul before and weren't charged anywhere near as much... I'd have rather not used your services if the rates were going to be so high! The truck advertisement on the truck doesn't state $19 for 3 hrs. If it has we would have rented another truck or a trailer. We didn't have this extra $ in our budget... The truck I rented was in very bad driving condition. it felt like the transmission was dragging. I didn't really hear it until we were outside of Virginia. I mentioned this to the worker where I dropped off the truck and pray they do not rent this truck out until they repair the problem. I paid good money for this rental and have rented here before and could not believe they gave me the worse truck they had for a 1400 mile one way trip. I sincerely deserve a refund and would definitely like to talk to a manager.Sharon S.

The lack of dollies was unsatisfactory and the truck that was assigned to me did not have a ramp which made it difficult when loading heavier items. For future reference, the u-haul representatives may want to ask the customer if these items, i.e. ramps, will be needed prior to finalizing the rental transactions.KATHERINE RENEE S.
The address of the pickup location changed without notification. I didn't get an email and missed a call the night befor with less than half an hour until closing time. I didn't find out the address had changed until arriving at the original location. The location with the truck was more miles and the whole fiasco set us an hour behind schedule. This was absolutely abysmal. I also got put on hold forever with the national reservation number. I finally hung up and caller the local midtown location on Louisiana street to actually get help figuring out the situation. The people at the Midtown location were the only helpful competent people I dealt with.Steven H.

There was only one person working in the office and she was helping another customer. Even though I selected the option of using the app to check-in and access my rental, I still had to go into the office and wait for the one employee to finish with the previous customer who was having some huge issue before she could hand me the keys. There was also the issue of the app not letting me finish the check-in through the app, so I again had to track down the one employee, who was at that time moving trucks around the lot. I was hoping the check-in process would be convenient, but it was more of a hassle than anything. The return process went smoothly, however. I also appreciated that the van was brand new. The reason I probably wouldn't recommend that particular location to a friend is because of the area of town where it's located doesn't feel particularly safe, especially at night when the rental office is closed. When i returned in the evening to return my rental, there was glass in the parking spaces in front of the storage building where you could tell someone's car had recently been broken into.Elise W.

I returned a rental 9' van with a more full gasoline tank than it was served to me (5/8 tank). I provided receipt from the gas station to the UHAUL employee and she then proceeded to bill me $18 for six (6) gallons of gasoline. My contract (#26045208) shows a total of JUST TWENTY FOUR MILES DRIVEN, which makes it darn near impossible for the rental to have possible burned six gallons of gas. I want my $18 back. I returned the tank at the same level I received it. What a shake down. So unacceptable. I'd give zero stars if possible.NICHOLAS H.

If every UHaul location could learn from the owner of this one it would make life so much easier in a move. Somehow, Google gave me the wrong location of this UHaul center. I drove 45 minutes out of my way and when I tried to call I was on hold forever. When I got to the location the gentleman stated it was no problem and he would make my rental start at 2pm instead of 0930! They also make it so easy to return that we simply pulled up late, unhooked the trailer and put it back a spot, took a couple of photos and all was good. This is the best UHaul location I have ever been to. I will recommend them to all.ROBERT F.
