Y’all need to work on explaining where a truck will be picked up. Seriously I picked up from a smoke shop and your app didn’t provide all the information for my to get in the truck. Plus your management like putting words in peoples mouth not once did I ask for money or a discount the day who helped the very first day to say we changed locations all I asked for was 10 free miles I was offering to pay for the rest she gave me the credit and lowered the miles cost and I did say thank you. But this time today 5/2/26 I never said I wanted credit or anything she rudely said we already gave you a discount and credit I can’t give you more. I never asked for more!! ALL I ASKED FOR WAS IF SOMEONE HITS PICK UP IN PERSON TO LET THEM PICK UP FROM A U-HAUL LOCATION SO I CAN TALK WITH A HUMAN! I needed help and it took them an hour to help and being called poor in terms.

Arrived at 7:30, no one was there, and they did not answer the phone. They open at 9, and we had no instructions on how to obtain the truck. I contacted U-Haul, and my driver did too. I spoke to Lakisa in McKinney, who made me go through the entire rental process. Each step took her a long time to complete. I think she was at home, based on the background noise. Her tablet had a lot of difficulty uploading the driver's license and insurance information. In the end, she gave instructions to get the keys for the same truck. Why she could not do that in the first place, I do not know. I do know we were 1 1/2 hours late getting started on the move. She also could not understand that my driver, Luke, was at the location, and I was at home. The truck only had a quarter tank of gas. You changed from the original location and caused huge problems. I gave her the original order number. I ordered blankets, and there were none. For 50 years, I have used U-Haul, and will not in the future. Worse experience I could imagine. Apparently you have gone way downhill as a company.
