The drop off location was simply a parking lot at a storage facility. In incline Village. We couldn’t really tell where the office was because it was up a staircase and poorly signed. Inside we were then disappointed to find out the area at the office had closed at 1 o’clock. We then tried to work through the self checkout and talk to another customer service representative who told us we should drop the keys in the dropbox which didn’t exist. We instead drop the keys in a mail slot on a different door next to what looked like the U-Haul office. The place looked safe and a fine place to leave trucks. But having a single human being within 100 yards would’ve been very helpful. We were extremely disappointed in the entire experience. The truck was great. The actual people we talked to were fantastic, but having the website mislead us about where we could drop it off, having the information we were given by the attendant in Reno, not be accurate because we couldn’t do that once we talked to the customer service representative on the phone, and having to drive an extra probably 90 minutes and pay for gas to make that possible, make this a very unpleasant experience.

Had trouble with initial location in Truckee. The rest of the process at Incline was good.
LLOYD CGreat customer service, reliable
DARREN Rwhen I reserve a 26' truck and you tell me YES, we have that reserved for you, then the morning of the reservation I find out the truck is now located 45 minutes further away (creating a lost of about 3 hours due to the logistics of pickup, moving, then return) that is totally unacceptable. The sub truck at 20' WAS NOT LONG ENOUGH to hold my shit and now Ive basically lost a lot of effects that I would have otherwise kept due to not being bale to move them all at once. Honestly, just baffling and unacceptable. I will do my best to never use UHAUL ever gaain and will implore any and all freinds and acquaintances to do the same. Awful.
AUSTIN RNothing, no complaints
