Check in should only be "Checking in" and accepting the truck. I had multiple steps yesterday that I had not had before. If those steps should be required, they should be undertaken BEFOREHAND, not while someone is standing in a 100degree parking lot waiting for an Agent in "who knows where" to approve the person picking up the truck. 1. Are you here? 2. Take a pic to verify it matches what we have on file. 3. Check the truck and verify fuel/Mileage. The app sucks frankly, and the process could be made much simpler than it currently is (and should be made so). The equipment I have used has been fine, I'm frustrated by the app and the fact that they always change my pickup location at random.

U-Haul changed my reservation pick up location and time and did not send me any notice of that. New location of pick up the people were very nice and helpful answering my questions about U-Haul.
Karen PTrouble locating the trailer, places to which I was referred did not have it. Once we located the trailer, everything went fine.
Tim KI was scheduled to pick up at 8:00 I couldn’t log into my account the app wouldn’t cooperate the website wouldn’t work. The hold time was over 30 minutes. It took the representative a LONG time to figure out problem. Never again!
Darlene HPick up location was originally reserved 10 minutes from my house. On the Thursday before, I was informed that it had changed to this location that was one hour and fifteen minutes from my house. This caused a lot of strain and hardship on my moving day. The regional customer service was also horrible. She lacked any kind of empathy or willingness to discuss alternatives and said I can either take what she had given me or cancel. Horrible. I will not be using or recommending U-Haul in the future and I will actively dissuade my friends from using.
