I have been a regular U-Haul customer for several years, and unfortunately, this time I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I had reserved a 26-foot truck, and the reservation had been properly confirmed in advance. However, when the time came to pick up the vehicle, the truck was simply not available. This situation caused me significant inconvenience and resulted in approximately $1,300 in additional expenses that I had to cover because the vehicle I had reserved and received confirmation for was not available. As a long-time customer, I find this situation extremely disappointing. I relied on U-Haul to honor the confirmed reservation, and I believe some form of compensation for the additional costs I incurred would be appropriate.
