The women that helped me were generally nice, however I have one complaint. I reserved a truck for 24hrs, this store did not allow the lock to stay with the truck so I could lock my things overnight. I’ve rented from u haul several times and had always been used to there being a lock available for the truck along with the key to the lock. This location told me the lock was only included if I had booked using the app, the lock they took off the truck is theirs and if I wanted to use a lock over night I had to buy one. The whole scenario was very contradicting. I couldn’t understand why the lock would be included at the same price had I reserved the truck via the app vs in person. As I said this is not the normal process of uhaul however this was a mom n pop shop that had 1000 other things to offer, mail boxes, bill pay, gas, copy n printing, and many more. It seems the uhaul service is not this stores priority, when they have a rule to not give a lock unless I booked online. No one told me either I had to drive back to the location in the truck to get the lock only to be met with an unreasonable answer. That increased the miles and gas that I used. I understand ppl can steal locks however other uhauls have the lock chained in to the handle to prevent theft. At best they could have let me know while I made my booking for a 24hr time period, that it did not include a lock. Instead of letting it be a surprise to me. Causing me to waist time and gas,

Gas was so low I had to immediately go fill it. The location was in a parking lot filled with uhauls and other cars that I had to circle until I found a spot to park and even then had to park a bit away.
Ashlei LDrop off was... wierd. I was told they wouldn't be able to accomidate the return for at least half an hour as there was only one person working there, and I should just leave the keys and go. No receipt, no close-out process, nothing. I'm not even sure they processed the return of the vehicle as I haven't even gotten an e-mail or a text message.
HARRY GReturning the U-Haul was an absolute nightmare, I was hung up on four times at the call center and nobody can help me I ended up having to just leave the U-Haul at the location and return the key without any assistance because I kept being hung up on and the woman I spoke to said I don't know anything about a call center it doesn't matter if I know anything about a call center I'm calling to return a U-Haul I'm not applying for a job at each call center she wouldn't let me speak to anybody else and told me that there are no managers there I have to speak to anyone else even the janitor at this point and she again hung up on me. I have no idea what my final charge is going to be I have no idea if the rental is closed out I have no information because I couldn't get any help and I had called previously to returning the U-Haul and spoke to somebody who could change the location because for some reason the original location was an hour and 45 minutes from my location when there's are you all less than 10 minutes from my house and my new place. Because state that they are could be recorded so please somebody should listen to those calls I would really appreciate it. I know that the woman who is speaking to me the last time knows who I am because every time I call you all the answer hello Vanessa. This is the worst experience ever and I have already shared it with all my friends and relatives and told them to let everyone else be aware as well because I don't want anyone to be in the situation that I was in.
VANESSA DI was charged a late fee for the rental and the location was closed at 12 PM. 4 hours before my return time.
