I called this local number several times over a 2 hour period and put on hold only to be transferred to the 800 number. I waited an hour and 30 minutes before hanging up. I called the 800 number later and received a person fairly quickly. She sent a message to the local store to call me and they called me right away. The truck we rented was great! The 26 ft truck pulled great and has great brakes and handling.




They ordered wrong trailer hitch for 2018 rouge @ wrong location had a flat 40 miles into trip

You guys push online check-in, but the process doesn't appear to connect to the locationn where the rentals are picked up. It appears that the agent at the counter re-keys ALL of the information that was entered online, asks AGAIN for a credit card, and generates a completely different invoice than what was committed online.


When I arrived at 8am there was already several people in line. Of course this is not their fault but the employees seemed in no rush to help customers get in & out quickly and efficiently. When I finally got to the counter, I was given my truck number and told to pick it up outside. I walked outside and waited for several minutes but was not addressed by either of the two employees working outside (they seemed behind). A few minutes later an employee pulls up a truck that is the same size as the one I rented but has a different number. He exits the truck & says nothing. Still another few minutes goes by before I am able to track someone down and inquire as to if that is my truck to which he replies, "I think so." He explains they were unable to find the keys to the truck I was assigned. Well now all my paperwork is wrong! I also didn't get the dolly I rented and paid for so I had to go back. The truck was horrible to start. Apparently something was wrong with the key and you had to violently wiggle the key and steering wheel in order to get the truck started. When I went back (to get the dolly) and explained the issue I was having getting it started (having just left the property), one of the employees advised me after it leaves the premises, you have to contact roadside assistance. Really? Not wanting to unload and reload another truck, my brother played with starting the truck until it worked but we would have the same issue each time we started the truck. When we returned the truck, we suggested they take it out of service to fix the problem because it was very frustrating and the employee seemed to be aware of this issues with the truck so I have no idea why they were still renting it out. Return process was much smoother but as the customer, I was soliciting someone to help me instead of the other way around.

I arrived with a reservation to pick up a van. The online check in system was not working so I was required to stand in line for over an hour for an associate to help. Once I finally received help the process was fairly quick however there was one associate and the manager assisting people. The “manger” was moving so slow and the entire time I was in the store only helped a single person who was still requiring assistance when I left. Additionally while in the midst of a global pandemic with governors orders to wear a mask the “manager” had his down around his chin the entire time I was in the store and another male employee was walking in and out of the store behind the counter with no mask at all. I took pictures as I was appalled. If I am ever in need of Uhaul services again I will definitely chose a different location.

I do wish there was a solution for night drops of equipment only but I understand that's a harder problem to solve.


Make it clear at the time of booking that if you don't hold a TX driver's license you can't rent a pickup truck or van. That put a snag in my day. The employees were really nice there though.

After checking out at the register, no one tells you if the truck is ready. You're supposed to assume that the one in front of you is yours.

Check-in and return process is like 1990. Too slow. Slow software. Repetitive request for info, ID and credit cards after ALL were submitted online. Polite but very unhappy employees. Comments made about low pay, being understaffed, turnover and less than modern procedures and software.

Appliance dolly was not available and I was not notified even though it was on the rental agreement. The truck had damage to everything exterior part and I was unable to take pictures or utilize the phone app to dispute the damages so I was forced to get the insurance on It so i am not wrongfully charged for the previously done damage.


i did have an issue because i called customer service which took an hour because after twenty minutes it would hang up and then i some one after an hour and was told i could take my truck back to another location if i called back at 7 the next morning to change locations to drop off but i had to drive back to original location after i called that #

When I picked up the equipment the office personnel were extremely nice and efficient, however the technician that was to assist with hocking the equipment to my vehicle forgot even after seeing me waiting for almost an hour were indicated, the store closed without giving me the equipment, I had to literally bang on the window for him to go outside and got sassy about it, finally I got the equipment.

The team working that morning did the best they could do. There were only 3 of them working so there was an extended wait to get my rental. I also tried to do a remote check in but was unsuccessful. Overall though I am happy with my experience.


the mobile app was frustrating. My cell had location enabled, but I still wasn't "found" by your system.


Did not have the amount of blankets I reserved. I would ensure in mornings that you hold blankets for reservations first and then release to walk ups. Manager was very good here however.


Tried to pickup truck after hours and the process was not user friendly. I had to wait for location to open but at least I was first in line :-) The after hours drop off was better
