I booked at another location because I read the reviews on this one were so bad. At the last minute they called and moved me to this one. They did not explain over the phone that it was an unmanned location and I was not prepared with the app and all the info I needed. It was raining with no cover and I was on the phone for an hour until someone from corporate helped me get through the process. There is no local customer service number. Also the truck was completely empty of gas, we returned it with fuel and I was still charged a fuel fee of 115 dollars which I tried to cancel off my bill but i couldn't figure it out. Terrible experience truly, they should lose the franchise.

The location was fine for picking up the truck, but the lack of costumer parking on-site was a disappointment. We also suggest double-check the condition of the back end. There were pieces of debris left by the previous renter that we cleaned out when we returned our rental. Lastly, making a reservation was easy, but we ended up spending over an hour confirming our what our vehicle was (and who we were) after we arrived. The 10' truck we originally reserved was unavailable, because (we were told) we missed our pick-up time of 6:30 AM. The problem was, our reservation was confirmed for an 8:30 AM pick-up. The error was U-Haul's, not ours. Then, we were told we could use a 15' truck, but for $10 more. Why would we have to pay more for a truck that we didn't reserve because the 10' truck we did reserve was unavailable due-to U-Haul's error? Bottom line, the rental process now puts all of the responsibility on the renter to perform multiple tasks for U-Haul that U-Haul used to have employees perform on-site and in-person. Nice deal for U-Haul, not so much for the renter.

Not safe I would never send my wife or daughter there to pick up the truck especially in the dark no light. extremely.unsafe trucks parked next to each other could me a very dangerous situation if someone wanted to rob you. Bruno SYour Lihue mobile location is incredibly challenging. There are NO lights. I spent 1 hour and 15 minutes trying to take photos and get them uploaded to your site. they kept rejecting them because there is NO light there. then when i walked too far to where there was light it didn't like that i was too far from the locaton. i tried to call and your office was closed. this started at 8:15pm and i finally got in the truck at 9:30. Only to find the truck was ON EMPTY!!! The truck was also not cleaned. Then turning the truck in your app would not accept the photos of the truck because once again, it was dark and you have NO lights. i was getting errors and i finally did a live chat and said i was leaving the keys. they said the check out had completed but it had not on the App. The truck itself worked fine, no issues. But i wasted 2.5 hours pickin up and dropping off. I will not be using it again.
